Conditions of booking and letting
Although we like to keep things as informal as possible, there are certain rules we must apply for our mutual protection:
1. Bookings must be made on the form provided, which should be completed and returned to us with a non-returnable deposit of £50 per week. On the Booking Form you must state the names of all those people who will be staying at the cottage during your occupancy. The maximum capacity of the cottage is four persons except by special arrangement.
2. Bookings run from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10.30am on the day of departure, to allow time for preparation between guests.
3. The balance must be paid in full one calendar month before the commencement date of the holiday, and on receipt of this final payment we will send you the keys, travel directions etc. If you have to cancel after you have made the final payment we will make every effort to re-let the cottage on your behalf, and if successful we will refund the money you have paid less the deposit. We recommend you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
4. Please bring your own towels - all other household requisites are provided, as is Gas and Electricity.
5. Any breakages are the responsibility of the person in whose name the booking has been made, but we would not normally expect to charge for these unless there has been undue carelessness. Please report any breakages or damage to us as soon as possible so that we can arrange replacement.
6. Free Wi-Fi is provided, but performance can be variable. The signatory of this form accepts responsibility for the ethical and legal use of Wi-Fi by all members of the party.
7. When you leave the cottage at the end of what we hope has been an enjoyable holiday, please leave in it the state you found it on arrival.
8. Non-smokers only. Dogs are welcome (there is an extra charge of £20 per week for the first dog, and £15 per week per dog for any others) but owners must ensure that all evidence of their stay (inside and outside) is removed before departure.
